Yes indeed, size of door opening, height of door above ground, legroom, headroom, seat width, etc. I would dread having to replace my 14 year old car today.
This is why I still have my 2004 Olds minivan, my wife who has full arthritis in both her knees, can barely get in and out of it without bending her knees too much.
You don’t have to be a Plugger to have that problem. My husband is 6’1", with very long torso. He has a hard time getting into and out of most cars without having to duck his head.
