Back in the day, I used to be heading out at around 8 or 9 PM. Now….this guy nailed it ! It’s just about all I can do to stay awake that late.

If they don’t leave a message, they get marked as Scam. If they leave a bogus message, they get marked as Scam. If they leave a legit message, I put them into contacts so I know to answer right away.

I don’t know about you people, but i’m an introvert and DESPISE calls of all kinds. They’re a waste of time and distract me from whatever I’m doing at the moment.

Most of our plugger friends don’t hear all that well and so we text. Those who have wide fingers have learned to use the stylus. After all, our cell phones were chosen for the picture taking and storing capabilities.

My parents and grandparents always said regarding calls after 8 PM someone had been in an accident or was dead.

I don’t bother flagging scam calls, with number spoofing it’s a waste of time. And although the phone companies can block spoofing, they won’t until the government forces them to.

I put the phone on silent from a certain time to a certain time and let it go to voicemail.

Used to be 9 or the answer would be, “This better require an ambulance.” (Pre cell phones)

The silver lining to the pandemic was fewer spam calls. Now, not only are they starting up again, we’re getting more of them after 8:00 PM.

This Plugger’s friends & family know I hate talking on the phone. They text (or email) me instead unless it’s urgent.
