Sadly i’ve done that. More than once.

Started using my phone for my shopping list…..gets left behind in the same spot as the shopping list. At least there is consistency. Important for a plugger.

I often stand a catatonic plugger in the aisle between the vegetables and bread. Do recall what I forgot once car packed and ready to head home…..

My most crippling problem is forgetting the pencil I use to scratch off items in my cart. Without it I have to check the list against the contents of the cart often.

When I remember to take it I forget to look at it until I’m home again.

Could this be the first “Pluggers” without a Plugger??

The other side of this : You remember the list and still buy stuff not on the list ;-)

Guilty, as charged ! ! ! ! !

Yes. Ours hangs on the refrigerator. So we can remember it after we get home.

Nowadays, people take a picture of it on their phones in case they do forget it.

That’s the challenge of it. Make a list, read it over and then when you get back home compare it with you bought.

Or, you lose the list in your purse!

We used the phone list for a long time – in case spouse thought of something to add – but with the new virus surge, we’ve moved to Instacart. Can change it online, too, up to a point.

I try to remember to put my car keys on top of the list. It works (sometimes).

Shop hungry and don’t use a list. Yes, I’m in the grocery biz.

I do that occasionally, but since my list is made to follow my shopping route, I usually manage to get 99% of what’s on the list and seldom what’s not. Unless it is on an unadvertised sale.

A clever Plugger will write their shopping list on a large Post It, so they can stick it to the handle of their shopping cart……provided they don’t forget to bring it.

Better that than my wallet, which I forgot yesterday.

I know far too many folks that do that. But they always take their phone, right? And most of those phones have the ability to store the list. Or just to take a picture of the list. Or even to have on it an app for their list. Sometimes technology that’s easy to use, is convenient, and that you might even already have, can be useful. But while it takes very little effort on your part, it simply cannot do it for you completely on its own. And most folks who leave their list but take their phones learn to do this after only about, oh maybe two dozen times. Don’t be like that when it’s so easy to make your life so much les frustrating.

I put it on my cell phone then I never forget it!!

That describes my wife!

You’re a Plugger, If you ask for a ToGo Box for your Steak and Ribs, then half way home remember you left them back at the Restaurant.

That’s why i use Notes on my iPhone.

That’s my bride and I almost every week.

Making a food plan for the whole week and shopping with a list saved us a lot of money. Even if now and then there falls an unplanned item into the basket.

fortunately, we can remember one or two things on the extensive list we left on the kitchen counter. when we do remember to bring the list my wife keeps handing it to me to check and i dutifully inform her that, yes, everything on the list is a blur…

I’m so excited this is the 1st time I have submitted to pluggers and I can’t believe I actually got published.

I was so surprised that I didn’t receive an email saying that I was going to be published.

Make list and transfer to the computer to print out these days. Back in normal days the list was in cell phone.
