Should he have that thing in a plastic sleeve to prevent wear and tear?

I had to get my auto insurance card after an accident in a freezing rain, and the ink ran. Now I laminate them as soon as I get them…

Why would you have to pull it out more than once per clinic? New year show it, they copy it and you’re done for the year.

Hopefully he goes to the doctor more frequently than the cops pulled over.

My doctor’s office and local hospital have it all on file in the computer. Only need to show the insurance card if I change supplemental provider or plan.

I do have to show my actual cards to places that I have been to before. The hospital is one example. (Even just for x-rays, etc.) The Medicare cards are a shameful excuse for a “card”. The ink was wearing off on mine. I called and told them I was going to get a new one and laminate it. They said not to laminate it, but they did sent a new one. I am seriously considering laminating the Medicare and the Social Security card. My supplement and prescription cards are decent cards made of plastic, although the print is ridiculously small. Not as bad, though, as my state ID card. Nice plastic, but the number is so small that even young people will good eyesight can barely see it. My handicapped placards were a nice size and easily readable, but they have not sent my new ones since I applied 3 months ago! All government agencies should be ashamed of themselves. Okay, rant over, lol!
