A good vendor always knows what to stock for the season ! Even if it is only one day ;-)

My father-in-law was a nice man, but a little short on social graces. He bought his wife a box of candy for Valentine’s Day, and never did understand why she was so upset. He’d only eaten a couple of pieces before he wrapped it up for her.

I’m “upscale”: I bought mine at Ace Hardware.

Bought the first birthday present for my wife at Lowe’s: mirror doors for the closet.

i asked my wife, a week ago, what she’d like for Valentine’s Day. She replied “It’s only the first of February and we’ve had two major appliance failures. I think you’ve spent enough money.” Who am I to argue with her.

I would have bought mine at the local “big box” store. What woman isn’t impressed by a case of Valentine chocolates?

It was either that or skip the honey do list

See’s is just across the lot from Home Depot. I know to get it there…..

Remember, they always have a big current holiday selection at the 24-hour truck stop if HD is out or closed.
