At some point, you would want to graduate to a two-wheeler.

I (a plugger fursure) walk my dog in a stroller because of her back. I sometimes meet other pluggers on walkers and tell them my walker came with a dog. They get a chuckle and my dog gets a petting.

This would be more effective if it showed him wheeling the barrow down a store aisle, or something, and it was full of Cheetos.

I have tennis balls on the end of the handles so my arthritic hands can deal.

Around 40 years ago, we discovered the New England Garden Cart (made in Vermont). It has pneumatic wheels (bicycle tires) that are easy to roll over rough terrain, high sides that prevent loose loads (mulch, compost) from bouncing out and the front end slides up for easy dumping. The axle is positioned to distribute the weight and balance the load. Seriously, our then 5-year old could wheel it back and forth with no problems. And, I never got a back ache (which I always did with a regular wheelbarrow). We still have it. They came in large, medium and small sizes. The small size seemed about the same size as a wheelbarrow. We got the medium, which probably carries about twice as much. The company we got ours from doesn’t seem to exist anymore, but they are still for sale.

My wheelbarrow is my best friend! I don’t just use it to haul my firewood, but I can put a trunk full of groceries in it and take it all the way into the house!

Huh?? I hate to say it but this doesn’t make sense. You can’t lean on a wheelbarrow and have it move like you do with a walker. A Plugger that needs a walker can’t use a wheelbarrow. They just have an over-sized pouch on the front to haul things.

Does this make sense? He’s apparently doing work, how does that make this a “walker”? Show him out in public with an empty wheelbarrow and maybe I’ll buy it. Well, except for the fact that NOBODY uses one as a walker.
