I only shave if I’m going somewhere really, really important!

Are any other retired pluggers getting 3 weeks to a gallon of gas along with a months use of a razor?

Shaving is always optional.

The only good thing about those face diapers. I only shave every other day now.

Eh, me bearly shaves at all.

Did this guy shave all the fur off his muzzle? Man, it’s hard to tell with bears.

I wouldn’t have thought being clean shaven was an inherently pre-Plugger trait anyway.

Shaving is optional when you’re a bear too…

Shaving is not optional if you’re a plugger with a CPAP machine; a beard ruins the seal.

I haven’t shaved since 12/7/2017……..

Haven’t shaved for over 30 years.

Only grow a beard in the winter to help keep my head warm :-)

Stopped shaving everyday after my wife passed, no reason to do it everyday. Now, once every two days or three, ‘whichever strikes my fancy’.

Teleworking cut way down on my shaving frequency…

I shoot for twice a week to keep the razor from clogging.

It also becomes optional for those pluggers who are willing to wear masks in public. :)

I really don’t understand those young men who shave their heads, or even their entire body.

Be as shaggy as you want. That just means women can forego hairdos and makeup as well. But please don’t go the next step and decide to save water by bathing only when you shave.

Seems not shaving is trendy among the non retired as well.

I shave once a week whether I need it or not. :)

Plus, when Pluggers retire, everyday is Saturday…..

How is a bear’s “beard” different from his fur?

I had hopes my pandemic whiskers would act as Velcro for my mask. Not so much. It has been handy being able to cover the awkward stages of growing it out. Now, about the attempts at self hair cutting…

And about 95% of them grow goatees which makes them like a goat aka ridiculous but they all seem to think they are cool. Of course there is the contributing factor of the syndrome of growing hair on the bottom of the head to offset the loss on the top.

I grew a beard during “Movember” one year. I took my wife shopping and to meet our son at the mall. From a distance my son was alarmed, thinking “Why is that homeless man standing so close to Mom?!”

Love retirement, if only it didn’t come with old age!

Not too optional if you want to keep the wife happy….

Yeah, optional as long as the wife isn’t bothered.

Shaving isn’t worth the effort when the job center keeps telling you “We don’t have anything for you, however we’ll call you if we do”, and they never do.

I try to shave two or three times a week. Letting go longer than that makes it more of a chore at those times when it becomes necessary.

When a plugger retires, he looks GOOD with a beard!

Husband would be miserable if he did not shave.

On the other hand – I have only worn a bra twice during the pandemic – and then only because we had doctor appointments.
