Chips on my shoulders, chips in my hair, chips on the floor all around where I work, but I hate finding them in bed in the middle of the night. Just bought a new vacuum just for sucking up wood chips and plastic bits.
Even with my shop-vac attached to my Miter saw or table saw, I still get sawdust and wood chips on me. Wish I had an attachment for my circle saw and drill press.
I’ve always known what it meant to have a chip on one’s shoulder. What I did not know was the origin of the phrase, so I looked it up. Once again, I have learned something from GC.

He must have just come from his wood shop in the basement (or maybe the garage). My grandpa used to build furniture in his garage – I still have an end table that he built many years ago.

would it be kind of funny if it were a potato chip, a tortilla chip, or a Sun Chip crumb?
