If you are a plugger at age 70 and still working, you can draw your full, maximum Social Security monthly benefit and still get your regular work income. This year, Soc Sec benefits went up by more than 8 percent.

At least plug that hole in your wallet so a fly doesn’t get in. Plus, hope your money doesn’t fly away.

It’s getting so you’re plugger if you still use cash. I can’t remember the last time I carried more than my driver’s licence and phone, and one of those is superfluous next state over.

That all depends on how you spend your money. Whiskey tastes on a beer budget never work ;-)

It’s not just pluggers running out of money before the end of the month. Thus the record high credit card debt.

At the post office today the clerk gave me an application for employment. I told him I am over eighty. He said it is not a problem, apply today. No age limit. I am thinking of taking that job interview. Boy, if you think the mail is slow now, just wait until I am on board!

I like lending my bank money.

Sadly true for too many Pluggers. As a young Plugger, I planned for my retirement and maxed my 401K contributions, received max matching from my employers, and added to a Roth IRA as we were able. With a budget we stick to and barring a catastrophic happening, my wife and I are doing okay.

You don’t have to be a ‘Plugger’ for that to happen. That was happening to my wife and I, ten years before we entered ‘Plugger’ status ! ! ! !

Statically, more of an issue for youngsters. Unless Rick Scott gets his way…

Always. I get my pension at the end of the month and, except for grocery money, it is all gone within hours.
