    And then there are the pluggers who wander into the kitchen an hour before meal-time and grab a “little” snack [e.g., chips and dip, cereal, crackers and cheese, ice cream]. Then they only take one [heaping] helping. Dessert is eaten later, just before bed. And, no, it doesn’t really matter what time the meal is set for.

    I figure, since God gave me an appetite, I might as well satisfy it. Thank goodness he also gave me a sense of fullness to stop be for I over eat.

    Husband puts the ice cream away facing backwards and my OCD needs it to be front facing, so I always know when he has had it twice in one day. Then I put it in the locked freezer.

    since the pandemic ended I no longer order the 40-ounce prime rib & all you can eat sides at me favorite steak went bankrupt and closed down.

    That is part of a diet and can help you lose weight. I cut my carbohydrate servings in half, especially when dining out (just push it away). I’ve managed to lose ten pounds in five months with no other changes.

    The doctors say that weight loss comes from diet much more than exercise (about 3 to 1 times the effect for diet). I have switched from eating only until I’m not hungry, instead of eating until I’m full. If I get hungry before the next meal, I eat again, until I’m not hungry again. I’ve lost 15 pounds over the last month and a a half.
