As a registered plugger, I disagree with the sentiment and this guy’s use of a five gallon bucket. I “needed” a shoulder supported tool belt and several bags for the tools I routinely use, and by that I mean the tool belt called to me.
You can buy a fancy Rubbermaid pail for $25, or a 5 gallon pail for $1.50. Or if you know someone who works at Subway, free. Empty pickle pails, they just smell for a while. A long while.
Often a smaller pail inside for smaller or more delicate ‘stuff’. If they don’t fit in all the pockets in your classic work/everyday jeans. Check where the white wear marks are over each pocket to get a clue as to what is most commonly stored there.

A good 5 gallon bucket has lots of uses, including turn it upside down for a quick side table outside.

But it’s probably orange and says Home Depot or white and says Ace Hardware on the sides.

My usual tool bag these days is a repurposed reusable grocery bag.

Yesterday I installed a new mailbox. I did the same thing. Thank you, Lowe’s for saving me a lot of money.
