Piece of kibble: When I was a little kibble, all I could think about was growing up to be enjoyed by a dog. I trained and studied to be the best and most tasty kibble I could be. Finally I graduated from kibble college and was off to the kibble factory! I sat in a bag with thousands of my peers, waiting for my chance to shine! Finally the big day came! I was going to be the best kibble any dog had ever seen! But: TRAGEDY! I bounced off the rim of the bowl and plunged into a deep, dark pit. And here I sit, alone, broken, bringing shame on my family, never having had the chance to do the one thing in life I was meant to do. Chazz: So one of your kibble feel down the vent! Big deal! Poncho: But you don't know what the poor little guy went through! Bwa waa waa!

I can’t believe I feel sorry of a piece of kibble right now.

I think the more depressing case in this one is that tiny kibble children are raised from birth to be sacrificed to a comparatively humongous, deadly, ferocious beast, only for his friends and family to also be devoured one day.
