If Poncho was a little boy then the comic wouldn’t work.

My cats are all whistled train… it sounds like a freight train coming from every direction. Poncho could benefit from the militaristic training I employ. :)

My cats just have to hear the food container, and they come running… same with the treat bag… it’s quite the sight… especially when they start sliding on the hardwood floor… :P I’m terrible, I know, but it is funny!

Looks like she’s running out of facial definition (side view) - no wonder she’s running out of disdainful expressions!

Oh yeah she’s running out of disdainful expressions but will she ever run out of orange shirts and sweaters? Probably not.
Cats come when you call them IF they want to. Usually they take a message and get back to you later, when you’re busy with something else. Then it’s “Pick me up, pet me, love on me, make me purr.”

My cats know the word “eat”. They also know that when they hear it at 5 pm, it’s time to head for the kitchen to help whoever’s feeding them by rubbing up against their legs, and stretching up to try and reach the countertop. “Joey” my oldest cat also can discern the sound of a package of ham being opened for a sandwich, and goes all ninja by instantly appearing at the refrigerator when I open said package.

If I thought it would help, I’d buy my dog an Iphone and set up a twitter account. He responds to commands instantly – as soon as he’s finished with whatever he’d doing. My wife says he learned that from me. She’s also run out of distainful expressions.
