My dogs have always eaten cat food whenever they had the chance. Never any problems though.

On the other hand, my cats have always turned their noses up at dog food.

I once bought an unmarked can of tuna in the “dented food” section of the supermarket. After opening it up, looking at it and tasting it, I realized it wasn’t tuna, so I gave it to my Huskie. He ate it without any awful transmogrifications.

It’s a dog’s job to eat anything that remotely looks edible, not analyze the ramifications. Dig in boys.

Our 2 cats eat dry dog food at times, one dog eats dry cat food at times. The other dog prefers canned cat food, and finishes what the cats leave. It does come through pretty quickly, and quite odiferous.

To be correct Boomer, the cat didn’t leave it’s food; you scared him away before he could eat it…

Dogs will eat anything. I remember a time where an owner had to stop eating horse poop that had sun-baked onto the ground….
