Boomer: Are you sure trying to get your master fired is smart, Poncho?
Poncho: Sure! Once he gets fired we can do all the things we want together that I want!
Boomer: But if he doesn't have a job, he can't buy you food.
Poncho: Oh, snap.
When my husband’s job was eliminated at the height of the great recession and it took a while for him to re-up, he and our younger dog went on walks much longer than I could do. Now that my husband’s back to work, every morning younger dog still looks like he can’t believe he’s being left behind. :-( Of course, I’m not letting Y.D. see this story arc. ;-)
