There are some dogs that are irredeemable. My in-laws had a wonderful sweet Rottweiler for a long time. After he passed, they got another Rot as a puppy. He grew up with them on the farm and was fine, but they got too old to deal with him. We adopted him. We took him for a long walk in the park. My wife tried some basic obedience with him, and he bit her. Back in the car and we packed him back to his home.
The police gave him a try. They had him in the back of a patrol car, he broke down the barrier and attacked the officer driving.
The police gave him to a “dog whisperer.” He was allowed to spend a year mellowing out with a female, no commands, nothing. Then he tried to get him to behave, and the dog bit him and worse.
So he wound up as a junkyard dog, much like Angry Dog.
Well, all the joke really meant was that the guy wasn’t working with dogs anymore in any capacity, but it’s good to see ingrained elitism is still alive, well, and in deep denial in this country.

He should have had him working at the car wash. A song and at least two movies make that the official bottom-of-the-barrel job.

The problem with the “all jobs are equal” attitude is that it suppresses the ambition to improve yourself.
