I have a papillion, Rudy. I was driving in Virginia Beach and pulled up at an intersection along side a car with a papillon. I beeped at the people. We both rolled down our windows, and I swear, those two dogs carried on a conversation. Rudy would do some barking yipping and growling, then go quiet, and then the other would start carrying on; back and forth. It was like,
Have to laugh at Bitsy here sitting in the window telling all the big dogs that pass by, safely on their leashes, what she’d do with them if only there wasn’t a window stopping her.
Treating dogs, or people, like you will never see them again is a common mistake. You may forget them, but odds are they will not forget you and when you least expect it your bosses cousin, or your sisters new boy friend will ‘snap’ and remember you. Awkward and possibly dangerous. Particularly the ‘hunt you down’ type of encounter. Just be nice or be quiet.

Rudy:“Excuse me, but do you speak papillon?”
Dog 2: “Why yes, I do.”
Rudy: “Do you live here in Virginia Beach?”
Dog 2: “No, we are on vacation….

Only in the world of comics can a dog hold a pen and write your plates down to come and kill you.
