I suspect that is why sacrificing things, like sheep, cattle, people and such went out of style. Giving up a perfectly good chew shoe came to nothing more than a mess, and no more chew shoe.
It may not be the rapture, but it’s sure the flood. And when they find that shoe in there, it will be the apocalypse.
Don’t know why toilets don’t overflow anymore when they back up but am sure glad for it.
I’ve flushed many a mouse from the trap down the toilet.
They are both closer to finding out what heaven is like if they make it there.
