My German Shepherd thinks he is a K-9 traffic cop. When we are on a walk, he only barks at cars going by which he thinks are going too fast. He doesn’t bark at ones moving slowly.
One of my 3 dogs wanted to chase cars, but on leash it was a problem. He has become a car racer. Cars going by our open style fenced yard are the opponents. Fences on each end of the yard are start and finish lines. He always wins from a dead stop, but I’m not sure how many of the cars know they’re being raced.

Well, that sort of takes the thrill out of the chase. Everyone knows there’s a world of difference between “fishing”, and just catching fish.
