Carmen shouldn’t have mentioned it. I don’t think Poncho was sick until she reminded him.

We had a dog like that. Even with motin sickness pills, he would drool somuch we went through a whole roll of paper towels on one two hour trip to the cottage. He never got better but at least with the pills, he stopped throwing up and just drooled.

He was the only one out of six dogs I had that got sick. Some dogs are like that, I guess.

My dog gets sick unless I keep the window down and she can put her head out. Sort of windy in the truck, but it’s the lesser evil.

Makes one wonder why he has a dog that gives him trouble every waking moment. That’s what wives are for.

Why not walk Poncho a bit? Wouldn’t a pill just come right back up?

Tessa the English Springer Spaniel was like that for about three months after we adopted her. Discovered it during a 200 mile trip to see Mom. Started out with heavy drooling. Vet recommended kid strength Dramamine. Took her for a half hour ride at least once a week until she really started liking rides. Traveled beautifully after that.

Dogs are more likely to take their meds if you put it in their dog food or a slice of American cheese.
