Shakespeare, when writing iambic pentameter, didn’t let it bother him if sometimes he had to add or drop a syllable in a line here or there. Some things are more important than rigid adherence to form. If Poncho has written a 140-syllable haiku, then that’s what he wrote.
Haiku poem : three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. It can be beautiful, or cut you to your soul!
