From and engineering perspective, i suspect the weight of all the tooth picks required for stability, would collapse the sandwich. Perhaps if high tensile Gouda was used it might reinforce the structure?
When I count the decks on a sandwich, I count the content layers, not the bread layers. The sandwich drawn in panel two is a triple-decker, not a quadruple-decker. A single-deck sandwich has two pieces of bread. A double-deck sandwich has three pieces of bread. And so forth.
That’s a triple-decker sandwich. The common one is a double-decker. As stated above, the layers are in between the bread, otherwise a “single-decker” would be just one piece of bread.

Chazz has NOT created a monster. He has just helped an existing monster to develop.

Do you think that The Heart Attack Grill is going to stop at the Octuple Bypass Burger? Or are they going to add yet more patties?

What about the Dagwood Sandwich ….. :)

Ah, you just end up filling up on bread. That’s how they get you.
Make the meat layers thicker, and use no more bread than is structurally necessary.

That “BONK” sound effect is wrong. A quick “VRVVRRVRRP!” would be more appropriate.
