    Hate to say it, but this chapter’s going to be pretty outdated given how old the book is.

    Many IP companies, like Hasbro and Nozomi Entertainment, now have channels on YouTube where you can view some level of content for free, “paying” for it by sitting through advertisements.

    Apps like Tubi and RetroCrush work the same way, allowing you to watch television shows and movies that you “pay for” by sitting through periodic advertisements.

    So long as you have a speedy and reliable internet connection, you have quite a bit of content at your fingertips now.

    In contrast, paid streaming platforms are starting to implode, like how CNN’s streaming service didn’t even last a month because it had so few people signed up at launch.
