Reminds me of an old Calvin and Hobbes strip where he said something to the effect of “that’s the trouble with nature….something’s always biting you or oozing slime on you”…..
So, I looked up funnelweb spiders, and only the Australian ones have ever killed anybody, and there have been no deaths since the anti-venom was developed in 1981. Stick needs to do better research.
