    It varies from district to district.

    Around here, for example, if you want to be a substitute teacher then you either need an associate’s degree (for the main school system) or a black belt (for the “alternative education” building) for the administration to even give you a second thought.

    Wonder if working in a prison…the last 3 1/2 years as a teacher…would qualify?

    Well, as a sub I can tell you that that “indoctrinate a sub properly” bit only goes so far. I only ask kids what’s going on if the teacher identifies the trustworthy students; otherwise, I ask the teachers around me.

    why are there only 3 students in the class? Other artists can invent a few more characters to fill out a room
