Don’t get it. If she wants the phone to ring, why is she running away (indicated by the classic cartooning device of dust clouds left in a fleeing character’s wake) from the phone?

We still haven’t come up with a word to replace “ring” despite the fact that phones haven’t had physical bells inside them for decades.
