What if they decide being alone together in the dark isn’t such a bad thing?

Being quiet under the blanket may cause Jeri to turn the lights back on!

By the time I was their age, I prided myself on being able to navigate my way out of a basement in total darkness. That came in handy when I was a teenager and my bedroom was in a basement. The bathroom was up on the main floor, and we had no night lights.

Reminds me of the time I was getting something from the freezer and my husband came downstairs and then went back up and didn’t see that I was still there. He turned off the light automatically. Our basement windows have shutters on them. After I closed the freezer it was as dark as the strip. I opened the freezer up again and got to the light and then back down to close the freezer. Since then, he wired another light in the basement in such a way that there is separate switch close to the freezer “just in case”…

The ancient fear of the dark, what creatures prowled the nigh that threatened us before we became the head of the Predators?
