I’ve got no problem with sushi, but I stick with vegetarian when I can: e.g., carrot and cucumber maki. I can deal with tuna when I see it, but will leave possible crab meat alone.
Sushi is definitely edible with enough wasabi and gari. A local place adds a little bit of sauce to the rice so their sushi is good without anything extra. A local Korean place has their own variation: a bulgogi gimbap.

To me, Jazz is essential to life, itself.
I will never, ever in my life eat raw fish.

I love sushi! Some jazz can give or take, though. But gimme the sushi!

Can’t handle raw fish! California rolls that I get at our local Kroger are OK. I have always liked New Orleans Jazz!

Years ago our next door neighbor was a Navy pilot. He was also a fisherman who would eat part of his catch as soon as it was gutted.

My F-I-L called sushi “bait”.
Use it to catch something big enough to fry.
