My mother’s spaghetti recipe: 1) Buy Ragu…the cheapest, wateriest sauce ever made. 2) Empty jar into pan. 3) Pour a little water into jar, swish it around to get the last bit from the jar, and empty in pan. 4) Heat. 5) Cook spaghetti according to box, drain (pouring water on it) & return to pan. 6) Add “sauce” to spaghetti. As a kid, I didn’t like sauce & would usually have my spaghetti plain with butter & Parmesan. As an adult, I know why.

It seems fine to me. Use the bread to soak up the sauce.
