Try sharing a room with Grandma. When we had both grandmothers living with us when I was a teenager, I had to share my room with one of them. She had a huge TV and a mini-fridge, and I was forbidden from using either. Both grandmothers disliked each other & often used me as a tug-of-war rope (each wanting to do stuff with me at the same time). My mother often said that she regretted not sending me to therapy after all that.

Why stick grandmother in the filthy room? Is there a plot to get her to clean up Jeri’s room?

The room will be cleaner when Grandma leaves. Without question.
