Goldwater was Responsible for giving Rise to what are Today considered to be Fiscally Conservative Ideas, & managed to Win several Southern States in the Election of 1964 at a Time when the South was expected to vote Democrat, most likely because the Democrats were Increasingly Supporting the Civil Rights Movement, & he might have Won if he had had the Support of the Political Preachers whom he Opposed in his Time, but would Later become the Religious Right when Reagon made his Bid for the Presidency while also utilizing the “Southern Strategy” concocted by Nixon based on Goldwater’s Southern Victories, & that’s how the Party of Abolition became the Cult of Reagonomics while Painting Everything South of Missouri a lovely Scarlet Hue…
