Let us pray for our new President.

How sad, AZPrairiedog. I would not have voted for W if you put a gun to my head, nor would I have voted for Reagan, but they were my Presidents and I would have been thrilled to meet either of them. I am glad Obama is President, but even if I were not he would still be my President. We don’t have a separate choice. In a democracy such as ours we make the choice together and we accept the result. If we did not we would be subjected to the sight of tanks in the street, just as we see in so many other countries who value their freedom less than we do. God Bless our country and God Bless OUR President.

If this country was able to survive the Carter comedy we should be able to get by with the new regime. Beside it is in God’s hands now.

The abject stupidity and willful ignorance of people that think Bush’s two illegitimate terms were anything but a nightmare of unrestrained, unAmerican greed and moronic, unrestrained and mindless militarism is probably a plot to subvert general belief in evolution.

Hate Bush all you want, but he WAS president, and the Congress, Supreme Court, and a plurality of Americans agreed. The previous claim that Bush’s presidency, however bad, was illegitimate sets up the horrible precedent of countless other countries in which a faction that disagrees with an election leads to revolution and violent overthrow of the government. Nobody who loves America should ever think like that. But I suspect thinking had nothing to do with it.

Things will never be the same since we’ll lose even more freedom under Obama.

At least we’ll know our spammer friend, #1 redskins fan, will be msierable for the next 4-8 years.

Bush was the rightful Pres. Whether he won the first time or not, he was selected by a legally sanctioned faction, and it’s not the first time such an appointment came. No, it is the people’s fault for voting for him.

But hey, if you don’t like Obama, you can always leave. Why not create Faster Than Light travel, and go settle your won planet, and run it however hate filled you’d like to.

Obama can only “destroy” so much freedom, since the Pres has limited capabiltiies as such. And people will always be able to have a say in things. At least now, we don’t have to hear the catch all excuse National Security.

It is a shame that Obama has clean up Bush’s mess though. He has the future of our country in his hands, and not much to work with. He must make mountains out of molehills to succeed.

And let’s not forget to thank such wonderful groups like Acorn for trying to screw up voter registration and all the money that Obama got from overseas via the internet etc. etc.

I’m still a proud conservative, and the way things went during the campaign ticked me off no end – but the voters have spoken and Barack Obama is the President. And as America is my country, Obama is my president.

That way, I have the right to complain. ;-)

How about no men in the government.
