“Czar” actually has an Avtokratik ring to it. Personally I think Obama would rather hearken to socialism than to that.

Seventeen White House czars and counting, tho a more ideologically accurate term is “commisar”. (NOT what Jefferson and Madison had in mind.)

McGehee: “Auto-crat” does at least work for the GM-Chrysler czar.
