Kevin apparently subscribes to the “Canada is the 51st State” theory. We could do worse (though we’d probably have to admit each province separately).

Please not another war with the British Empire. This time the Indians (Native Americans) would have a really hard time deciding on who to support.

If Kevin can successfully get Guam admitted before November 6, he’d have the upper hand in grabbing their 3 all-important electoral votes. It would also push the total required to win from 270 to 271. They would need to resolve the naming issue, though. In the meantime, get working on those 51-star flags.

Why 51? When Puerto Rico becomes a state there will be 52. Unless the Hawaiian Separtist party wins.

Canadians are too smart to become part of the U.S. .On several occasions they have expressed their opinion about that. They are smart enough to put the capital of British Columbia on an island so the politicians are as far from the population as possible.

However, Canadians might adopt Florida or Hawaii as provinces to give themselves places for winter vacations, and they could then move the politicians from Ottowa to Key West or (even better) Midway Island. Come to think of it, why haven’t we (the U.S.) moved our politicians to Midway Island and tell them that they can’t leave until they do something productive. Yes, the environmentalists would howl that all that hot air and bull… would upset the albatrosses, but it might be worth the sacrifice — Red-nosed boobies replacing the blue-footed boobies.

Maybe we could trade? How about Canada takes California, and we get Alberta? They double their population, and we get the oil.

Most folks think that Maine is already part of Canada. And, considering our current governor…we “Mainahs” are thinking Canada is looking pdg.
