Drones are a terrible idea. All they do is kill terrorists with our having no military losses.

Stalin called Americans who sided with him and called themselves Communists "useful idiots’. In this matter he seems to define you.

Our terrorist enemies are certainly not stupid. They infiltrate themselves seamlessly into civilian neighborhoods totally surrounded by women, children, the poor and the common population. Then they set up shop and fire rockets, build weapons and train future suicide bombers. If we try and stop these activities, the unthinking like you say we are callous about civilian losses. What would you do to stop these terroristic attacks? If truth be known, you don’t really want to stop them because they further your cause.

To stop a war against you, unfortunately some civilians must die. Think our A bomb and Hiroshima/Nagasaki. Think Dresden. If you truly want to have fewer civilian losses have your people stop the terrorists from moving into their civilan neighborhoods. They must take responsibility too.

Now local governments are getting into the drone act. While there are some legitimate uses (search and rescue operations), there are some less-than-legitimate uses (spying, illegal search and seizure).
