Bush had a better plan: Tell simple lies and they’ll let them kill thousands of their children. Which is also relying on stupidity, but the advantage is that, unlike the ACA, the idiots get no benefit from believing what you tell them.
I thought the democrats dropped the “Bush Lied” lie after the NYT said there were weapons of mass destruction? Note, not a single democrat has expressed any anguish about the way their mis-leaders regard them.
OK, so Gruber said the American voter is stupid. But he also said the ACA was written to obfuscate completely its own terms. So completely that even the lawmakers who were responsible for its legislation didn’t know what was in it (not that I’m saying that politicians, whose intellects are completely subservient to their ambition, are to be taken as shining lights of acuity). I’m sorry to say that Mr. Gruber himself sounds dumber and dumber the more his quotes are heard. MIT should be squirming to have produced (not to mention to be employing) such a dolt.

Great strip today, Stantis. Leftists cannot handle the truth, and leftists cannot handle mockery – nice package to tie them together.
