I kind of like this arc. As noted above, I remember when Denver was a two newspaper town..For those more into politics, check out Non Sequitur..The last couple of days in that strip have been a much more effective send up of Washington politicians than Scott’s bunnies.
The “thinking” of this journalist person is deadly and it is in every corner of society. When businesses start thinking that they’re business is making money they are on the road to failure. Mints MAKE money. Everybody else has to produce something to EARN money. And yes, look at all the money you could save if only you didn’t have to do all that costly PRODUCING of….things. People should just give you money. After all, you’re in business to MAKE MONEY! Yeah, that works!
