We can expect even more of this kind of behavior on the part of Herr Drumpf from now on thanks to “Fire and Fury” by Michael Wolff and the fact that Drumpf knows Mueller & Co. are closing in on him. No wonder he wants to attend the national college football championship tomorrow and cause a nightmare for everyone in the Atlanta area in terms of traffic and security. There’s a reason for it: He’s desperate for attention because he thinks the world revolves around him, kind of like Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life.” So he just has to insert himself into every major event in this country as if he’s the one who’s organizing it. Who cares about the folks in Atlanta and at Mercedes-Benz Stadium? Who also cares about the two teams (including, unfortunately, the Georgia Bulldogs whom I will be rooting for even though I will do so at home, and the Alabama Crimson Tide) whose players worked hard to earn their way to this moment? And who especially cares about the fact that this will probably be costly for the taxpayers, especially if Drumpf tries to pull a publicity stunt like Pence did, remember? How ridiculous that “conservatives” and “Republicans” continue embracing him.
The other day, Thomas asked a question of me that deserves an answer. His question: ”What realistic good can come from denigrating a retired and defeated career politician and a self-disgraced soon-to-be impeached president? These people will soon be a part of our past, mere cautionary tales with no influence or relevance to the exciting future that hopefully awaits all of us.“ //
I wish Johnson had gotten in. True, he is a doper and ignorant of foreign affairs, but he did an excellent job as governor. Good advisors could have helped him over his weak spots. He has integrity and courtesy, and neither Clinton or Trump has either!
There are no honest leftists. Otherwise they would acknowledge that democrat-inspired micro-regulation of the economy was the only reason for the poor performance of the US economy until President Trump took the jack-boot off the neck of the private economy.
Intelligent leftists – rare but not necessarily mythological – would recognize that President Obama’s massive cash gift to Iran was a stupid mistake. Leftists with the slightest grasp of Econ 101 would understand why prices rise fastest in medicine and college education, and slowest in the emerging technologies.
A leftist with any appreciation for history would remember that the last time the economy was this strong was 2006, and America eliminated the Republican control of government; 10 months later the recession began, entirely due to government policies.
Thats what happened in Kansas too. A Sanders landslide in very red State, resulting on dashed hope and by treachery of the super-Delegates who were pillars of defenders of their Party, not to who would bring healing back to our nation.

For that kick in the butt, Trump would give himself a 10 on the compassion and love scale.
Trump Disciples would also give him the same 10, just as they do for his handling of the Puerto Rico hurricane.
