Empathy comes with so many strings, demands, expectations. It really is hard to let those go on either side. Dislike is so much easier since understanding the reasoning is optional.

You know, that whole Compassionate Conservative thing.

I guess you could start with all the mulligans that Trump has been granted by the evangelicals.
And maybe pardons for the persecuted like Joe Arpaio and all the Iran/Contra gang.
And don’t forget the granting of top secret security clearances for those who could not get one just because of a little treason.
