It freaked me out the first time I learned that Google recorded and saved every place I went. You can get rid of it by shutting off “location,” but then they can’t track your phone if it’s lost or stolen, and it’s a pain if you actually need the map. So I leave it on, even though it really bothers me.

My wife gets frustrated – many times I leave the house and forget to bring my phone with me!

I have an older friend:
“Al, you got a smartphone!”
“Every phone I’ve ever had was smarter than me!”
(He is a smart guy :-)

The important take away, especially now: don’t believe everything you read. And if you really WANT to believe it, fact-check it first.

I bought a smart tv. It didn’t take long to discover that it was smarter than me. And I designed communication equipment for 41 years.
