Yeah, everyone remembers when Stantis complained so bitterly about the invasion of Iraq demanding to know where the money was coming from.

Why is it hard to grasp that investing in the population pays social dividends? The future generations prosper and the rich do too, more than they would have from hoarding the pittance they begrudge the poor. Not to mention much of the poor were once the middle class…

If you had no criticism of running up giant deficits in order to hand public money to people who have no need of more money, I really don’t want to hear a complaint about running SMALLER deficits in order to use public money for the actual public, who actually need it,

Have you noticed that Republicans only say “How are we going to pay for it?” when public money is actually used for the benefit of the public? They NEVER ask how we’re going to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

Scott, is this your way of saying the Biden plan may stink but will still make money?

A lot of vitriol,  recrimations, finger pointing, and hindsight here today. No one seems to be able or willing to answer the question of where will the money come from though.

So spending money to fix things which will thus employ more people and thus add income tax revenue. Improve ways to move goods so people spend thus creating more tax revenue. Improve the manufacturing plants thus creating more tax revenue. Having a healthy work force so companies spend less on sick days thus creating more tax revenue. Yeah, lets just do nothing so the country crumbles.

How bout if we cut the hell out of our defense spending?

Republicans were all for stimulus packages, and not worried about spending that money, until a Democrat got into the White House…
