Prickly City has been a fairly innocuous, albeit boring, repetitive take on current events. This cartoon today isn’t Payne-level stupid, yet, but it is approaching that threshold.

First they came for the Pledge of Allegiance, and I said nothing, because nobody is coming for the Pledge of Allegiance, you morons.

Well, talking black boxes goes pretty well with the cookie cutter backgrounds Kip complains about.

But an interesting point in the piece refers to China and the US having similar outcomes despite nominally different systems. Great inequality leads to third world social structures and economic opportunity. Thanks McConnell, honorable mention to Gingrich and the gang. The gang that can’t run the trains on time accuses us of socialism but its outcomes after 50 years of control equal the oppression of the Soviet regime.

Cancel culture is lame and passe. Next week it will be CRT.

Not sure why it is only the liberals who are considered the cancelers. IGNORance has always been a major tool in the Republican/southern Democrat strategy. ( but honest history would show the move of the southern racist politicians to the Republican Party)

LOL, that “by saying nothing you embolden them to do more” issue goes both ways… it’s NOT the one-way street where you demand acceptance for all your own agenda while demanding that all of your opponents’ agenda gets squashed…

So much self-pity. If future investigators want to find out when and why this strip crashed, they can start with the black boxes.

Does anyone notice that equality was achieved when Winston and Carmen became cancelled? Perhaps that’s the goal, sameness where everyone is boring clones of mind and action. Seems that equality = same outcome, same level no differences allowed.

So she wasn’t “canceled” when the QAGAs turned on her. No, that was just a regular old beatdown, hardly worthy of remark.

It confuses me why so many come to this comments section for the sole purpose of trashing the strip and its author. There other options and better uses of time. You don’t like this strip at all, and yet your views of it just helps it along.
