“Trump-supported activist put on leave from employer after gay p0rn reports”
“A school-privatization activist and frequent Fox News guest whose work has been praised by former President Donald Trump was placed on leave by his conservative nonprofit employer after reports that he had appeared in gay p0rnography videos surfaced. – NBC News”
(Y’know, you really can’t make this stuff up!)

‘Course not, they’re busy calling corporate to see how in Hades to handle THIS one!
The FFs didn’t get it wrong. They just could not imagine that someone who would violate a couple hundred years of norms and precedents would ever get the support he has. 1776 Americans had their own issues, rivalries, foibles, strengths; there were goofballs, smart guys, scammers, hypocrites, “sinners”, and so on… because, people.
Um, 1787, unless you’re talking about sticking with King George… So, back when Republicans were the good guys, 1860-1929, they rigged the electoral college and the senate by admitting the western territories as 15 states instead of the 2 or 3 their populations would have prescribed. Interestingly, Nate Cohn thinks their advantage may be going away. Cross your fingers…
Edsall has an exasperating piece about the condition that has us constantly tearing our hair, The ‘Motivated Ignorance’ That Keeps Trump Relevant, “The mystery of 2024: How is it possible that Donald Trump has a reasonable chance of winning the presidency despite all that voters now know about him? Why hasn’t a decisive majority risen up to deny a second term to a man in line to be judged the worst president in American history?”
