Arye, as with others, she struggles too. My experience with teachers like her is that they tend to try and seek out the innocuous parts of the school yard. This be one of them. In the back corner, Moe might be stealing some little girl’s lunch money, but because Miss Wormwood is preoccupied with Calvin’s supposed fear of slides, everything seems “safe.”. A lot of teachers are like Miss Wormwood in this way. Sometimes one like this will begin to step it up to something that’s beginning to be greatness. The first time it happens, it’s refreshingly unexpected. As it happens more they become more respected. They start to become, through noble choices, like the few amazing teachers.
I’m glad for this comic, it outlines a disparity between typical psychology and real leadership. True religion, good leadership practices, and positive psychology all surpass typical psychology in truly helping people.
This and the past few Peanuts comics remind me of the new-ish classic—Validation (well worth the watch)
