to quote Doonesbury: “it’s amazing that, a few years after the economy was brought to its knees by a gang of predatory Wall Street Plutocrats the GOP nominates (albiet reluctantly for lack of anyone more predatorial) another predatory Wall Street Plutocrat.” Best of all, he considers that to be his main selling point!
Susan, quoting Gary Trudeau has about the same validity as me quoting Karl Rove…it’s not like he calls them right down the middle. By the way, who got the majority of Wall Street campaign contributions in 2008…yep, that’s what I thought!

For you people who are decrying the fact that Republicans “obstructed” the Obama agenda, what do you think the 2010 elections were about?! Vast majorities of the American voting public sent Republicans to state, local and Federal offices to oppose the Obama presidency…of course they “obstructed”…that’s what they were elected to do!

It’s not that unusual for doggerel to rhyme.

Ima, no one with common sense would believe it! On the other hand, it would be Halloween, so anything goes!

I’d like to review your personal financial standing…if, in my opinion, you have too much (I get to decide what constitutes too much), I will remove some of it from your net worth. All joking aside, if you vote Democrat (and, for that matter, establishment Republican, nearly as often), government will never have enough money It’s not a revenue problem…it’s a spending problem!

And, I heard a black lady say…“Vote for Obama, he gonna give you a Obama phone!”. There are idiots on both sides of the political spectrum.

Now, God’s got a new plan…Romney! Apparently, God has Free Will, as well.

Other than the graying temples, this is not recognizable as Mitt Romney. Apparently, liberals not only have a problem understanding Republican philosophy…their visual accuity is compromised when looking at a Republican!

And, you folks talk about Mitt being a flip-flopper. If (and I still contend that Obama was talking about terrorism in general, not in this partiicular incident), Obama clearly called this an act of terror, why did he and his staff go on for two weeks blaming all of this on a spontaneous reaction to that “crude and offensive video”. News releases have clearly shown that the ambassador was pleading with the Administration to beef up security because of the threat of Al Qaeda in the region. If you can tell me with a straight face that you are UNAWARE of any attempt by the Obama Administration to blame this incident on the video, rather than on terrorism, I call bovine excrement!
This is from the CNN website (Crowley’s employer):
In the debate, Crowley, who is anchor of CNN’s “State of the Union with Candy Crowley,” also said that Romney was correct to say that it took the administration some time to say conclusively and with one voice that the attack was not the spontaneous outgrowth of a protest against an anti-Islam film.
CROWLEY: He — he did call it an act of terror. It did as well take — it did as well take two weeks or so for the whole idea there being a riot out there about this tape to come out. You are correct about that.
When she said “You are correct about that”, she was addressing Romney!
If you’re hanging your hat on a brief statement in the Rose Garden vs. two weeks of blaming a video, and a spur-of-the-moment demonstration, for the death of our ambassador, I think you’re on thin ice.
Hear, hear, masterskrain! And I’ll add that the problems Obama has struggled with for the last 4 years were caused by shrub and aggravated by the total obstinence of the disloyal opposition commonly known as the Republican Party!
Debbie, they were loyal to the voters who sent them to DC…that’s how democracy works. Funny how you don’t see Democrats voting in lock-step with President Obama as being slavish to ideology!
