The “E” man is alive and thriving at Creators.Com. Andy Capp is the main draw there, where they can post links. I go there sometimes.

~ Being that Aldi’s is a German company.

~ My mom was like that. My bro’s wife wanted a recipe, the way Mom made it, but there was no way it could be done as precise measurements so she and Mom were together when Mom made it, Moussaka, I think, and bro’s wife translated the amounts to something she could replicate, in order to closely give bro a “the way momma useta make” kind of meal. I hope Ken appreciated the effort and because it came out right. Now I will have to ask on that next we speak during the holidays.

~ 2010(?) approximately, there was an incident where someone drove a large truck into a crowd in Germany during Xmas shopping season. Whenever it was that it happened I seem to remember emailing with Marge about it.

~ Their paper subscribers must find much more interesting content in the paper to not be canceling subscriptions left and right. Is a contract between a writer and the company so ironclad that they are forced to ride out a person’s tenure ?

Locher stayed on until HE decided to let go and I see that happening now, with Mike Curtis.

~ I would criticize most harshly were I a writer of the caliber that some others of us are but I nearly always agree with negative sentiments that have been lobbed at the stories of late and whoever is the writer at the time.

The strip needs better scripting or to be put out of its (and our) misery.

~ So quit jamming me !

~ I fear we are watching this strip die, in slow motion. :-(

~ Recorded records are SO much better than relying on “he said, she said” style testimonies.
