The USPS website says that Priority mail takes “1-3 Business Days.” It seems reasonable to me that someone might refer to that as “2-day Priority” for brevity or due to not remembering the full details.

The billboard companies should be pouring money into self-driving car R&D… though I guess if the car’s doing all the driving, the people inside will probably be more focused on phones, laptops, portable game consoles, etc. than on roadside ads.

Similarly, the needlessly convoluted way of deciding Easter’s date is probably a result of co-opting pagan spring holidays (hence the equinox, full moon, fertility symbols like eggs and rabbits, and even taking the name of a Germanic goddess) and adding the requirement that Easter must be on a Sunday.

There’s also a small village in Illinois called Standard. (I grew up not far from there, or I probably wouldn’t have heard of it. Most people from Illinois – especially central Illinois – have probably heard of Normal, though.)

Since maps typically have west on the left (port) and east on the right (starboard), Portland, OR should keep its name and Portland, ME should become Starboardland.
