Not a mom but a plant nurse – My dad got a cut at work that he took to the nurse for treatment. She painted it and, since it stung, Dad blew on it. She grabbed his hand and applied more since he blew germs into the cut. Blowing was decided counterproductive that time.
I didn’t own an automatic until 2009, after I broke my leg. Kinda hard to drive a stick with one leg. Up until then, we had Peugeots with 4 on the column, Renaults with 4 on the floor, and an Explorer with 4 on the floor but the 4 wheel drive destroyed the first transmission and that cost $1400. When the 4WD failed the second time and the transmission started making funny noisesI , we gave it to the Salvation Army so they could at least make some profit on it and bought a Tahoe automatic.
I did, and I’m slowly learning too. But I do agree that there are too many distractions. The backup camera is nice, but I use all three mirrors and the beepy dots (they beep when you get back in the weeds) too.
me and my new car. The trouble is, I don’t touch the new toys – my husband does. I never know what’s gonna be on the screen any time I get into the car. Not even sure how to turn on the radio after he’s been in there.
