A badly conceived gag from a typical leftist/liberal who’s never met a bank, a corporation or a big business he didn’t think was evil, corrupt and greedy. So what else is new?

Let’s see… Americans are living longer - much longer - than they did 50 years ago; their longer lives are healthier, more disease free; a big reason for this are the drugs developed by pharmaceutical research that Wiley demonizes in this silly, shallow cartoon. Anyone for knee-jerk liberal hack?

Yeah, let’s beat up on the bankers, the guys that provide the capital for investment in new companies, new industries, new ventures that provide the new jobs we so desperately need. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.
If you believe that, I’ve got some beachfront property in Death Vallley I want to sell you.

Yeah, Petraeus, McCrystal and the rest of those preening military types distracting us from the exploding Pentagon budget that’s gone up - what, a big 4% - as opposed to Obama’s domestic spending that’s gone through the roof, is what we should be worried about, eh? … Hmm, maybe not.

I’m with Henderson - Steve Allen was good, but Carson was the best… by far.

What part of “congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech” don’t you guys get? The Supreme Court does not decide what laws are good or bad, but what laws are constitutional. Any law that prohibits corporations, or unions or anyone else from speaking out politically is unconstitutional. The court’s decision is correct and true. The world will not come to an end. But, hopefully, many Democratic politicians’ careers will.

Am I alone in this?… I find multiple-panel NonSequiturs boring, but single-panel NonSequiturs funny and interesting. Why is that? The whole Danae bit is just run-of-the-mill, average stuff done a million times by other cartoonists, but the single panel stuff sings.

Can’t believe this guy is syndicated.
Big banks are evil. Wow. There’s a sophisticated insight. Kinda reminds one of Michael Moore… whatever happened to Michael Moore? Must be a consultant to Wiley now.
