Hm. That’s a mirror image on the screen, not the image the camera would normally take (then Fang would be seen on the right). Would’ve been too real for Eno, I guess. ;)
Wait - am I wrong or is it (some) American citizens buying the pot, (some) Americans citizens giving badly paid “unofficial” jobs to illegal aliens?
If there would be no demand in the U.S., there would be no supply from Mexico. What should they say? “Hey, you open the opportunity to earn more money I would ever be able to make here, but I won’t go there because the ones giving me the opportunity are crooks without a moral spine”? It’s some of our fellow citizens supporting this stuff, they are the root of this whole thing - if there was no demand there’d be no need for supply.
Well, a smart car stands crashes just as good as any good compact car. Look for “smart car crash” on youtube - 70mph into a concrete barrier. And besides - what’s cool about squandering off our resources? Anyone hiring a contractor saying “Hey, I spend much more money for the same job done” wouldn’t be thought of as cool but as…I guess you know what. Don’t have to be a tree hugger for figuring that one out.
Good point, Goggy98! The best way is not to keep on using the regular light bulbs - you only save the mercury but waste almost ten times the energy, Drystyha. Using CFL bulbs and bringing them to proper disposal location (perhaps even connected to a recycling facility) helps us all. If we all save a little, it can really mean a lot. And no, I don’t hug trees. ;)
Funny thing is that also the diet products send the message “here comes something sweet” to the body, that’s why insulin is produced…and not used. The body reacts with hunger and you eat just as much, perhaps even more. Allergological side effects of artificial sweeteners left aside…
